Summer 2026 at Lake Jasna is approaching—and with it, an opportunity for your teenager that will leave a lasting impression. Now in its seventh year, Jasna’s Young Talents program is a proven initiative that offers young people aged 15 and older their first real work experience in the well-organized, safe, and supportive environment of an Alpine resort. This isn’t just a regular seasonal job—it’s an experience that has made past participants eager to return every year.

The program is designed so that young people not only earn money but also gain experience that school cannot replace.

Communication
The teenager learns to converse with guests from all over the world—in stressful situations, under pressure, and with a smile.
Responsibility
The teenager discovers what it means to be responsible for his role—for the team, for the guests, and for himself.
Teamwork
Work alongside peers and experienced mentors—learn how to coordinate, compromise, and solve problems together.
Work experience
The first real entry on your resume—with a recommendation from a prestigious Slovenian government agency for all future opportunities.

's Benefits and Working Conditions

Regular pay, fair working conditions, and care for the well-being of young people throughout their stay.

Accommodation
Accommodation is available in the center of Kranjska Gora for young people coming from far away. Group accommodation near the lake—details to be arranged individually.
Hourly rate
Pay ranges from €7.50 to €14 gross per hour, depending on the position and experience. Payment is arranged by agreement—either weekly or at the end of the contract period.
A hot meal every day
Lunch is included every workday. Each teenager is guaranteed at least one hot meal per day as part of the program. On the first workday: unlimited ice cream—exclusively for the Ice Cream House team.
Letter of Recommendation
Upon successful completion of the program, each participant receives a letter of recommendation from Jasna Natur Resort—a valuable document for future opportunities.
Joint activities
In addition to work, there are team-building activities organized for the team—tastings, evening get-togethers. Summer is also a time for fun.
Support and Implementation
During their orientation, new employees learn from experienced colleagues. Each participant is assigned a mentor who is always available to help with anything.

Legal employment
The teenager is officially registered to work through the student employment service. The contract and hourly rate are in accordance with applicable law.
Experienced staff
Every young person learns skills by working alongside experienced colleagues—the onboarding process is not left to chance; it is structured.
Orientation Meeting with Parents
Before the program begins, we will hold an introductory meeting— on May 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.—where we will answer all your questions. Location: Jasna Natur Resort, Vršiška cesta 41, Kranjska Gora.

5 different job openings—each assignment lasts at least 14 days. Some positions require applicants to be 17 or older.

Ice cream

The Ice Cream Shop

Making and selling homemade ice cream by the lake. Working with guests, a relaxed atmosphere, and the best location in the Alps.

Hourly rate: €7.50–10 gross

Water activities

SUP Rentals

Helping guests choose their gear and learn the basics of stand-up paddleboarding. A full day on Lake Jasna—there’s no better job.

Restaurant

Waiter's assistant

Work in a restaurant and serve alongside the experienced team at Gostilna Jasna. Learn the basics of the hospitality industry in a real-world setting.

Kitchen Assistant

Help prepare meals and get an inside look at the kitchen. For young people interested in cooking.

Jasna Reception Desk

Greeting guests, handling inquiries, and taking reservations. Suitable for older candidates seeking meaningful work experience.

Summer Dates

Arrival and departure on Sundays—teenagers may arrive and depart at their convenience. Those over 18 with prior experience may sign up for multiple consecutive sessions.

Each shift lasts at least 14 days—receptionists for at least 1 month, kitchen assistants and waitstaff for at least 3 weeks.

How does your teenager sign up for
?

The young person fills out the application themselves using the online form. Four steps to a spot on the team.

In the form, the teenager should provide their first and last name, date of birth, preferred start date, desired position, previous experience, and any suggestions regarding the team.
Job requirement: a valid student referral (e-Študent or another similar organization)

Parental consent is required
Applications submitted by minors without their parents' knowledge will not be considered.
Note: Before the teenager submits the form, please ensure that you, as a parent, are familiar with the contents of the application and agree to their participation in the program. This is a prerequisite for the application to be considered.

Introductory meeting: May 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
For first-time participants, the introductory meeting is mandatory.

At the meeting, we will explain all the details—the schedule, rules, accommodations, and contract—and answer your questions.
