RIKLI.Lab Wellbeing of the Future

The Living RIKLI.Lab project lays the foundation for the development of authentic wellbeing products of the future, inspired by Rikli's heritage.

At the Alpe-Adria fair, within the national tourism platform I feel Slovenia, the new Health and Wellbeing Product Marketing Strategy 2025–2028 was presented, in which the Julian Alps were selected as a pilot destination for the development of climatic wellbeing.

This represents an important development opportunity, based on the healing effects of the mountain climate, clean air, and preserved nature, opening up space for modern wellbeing products with high added value.

The Living RIKLI.Lab project directly addresses this strategic direction and lays the foundation for the development of authentic wellbeing products of the future, inspired by Rikli's heritage, with an emphasis on key trends in modern wellbeing: longevity, vitality, cognitive health, and regeneration.

The project partners are proud to co-create, through joint activities, the Julian Alps as a leading Alpine destination for climatic wellbeing, longevity, and regenerative experiences, based on the healing power of nature and Rikli's rich heritage.

The project is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development under the LEADER approach and with the support of the local action group BOJA Zgornja Gorenjska, led by the development agency RAGOR, thereby significantly contributing to the coordinated development of Upper Gorenjska.

The special feature of the bench lies not only in its functionality but also in its unique origin. It was crafted by students of the woodworking program at the Slovenj Gradec and Muta Secondary School under the mentorship of architect, sculptor, and Master of Painting, Mr. Boštjan Temniker. He spoke about the creative process of the bench, which intertwines with his personal artistic expression:
