Brief description of the project
The Living RIKLI.Lab project takes a comprehensive approach to Arnold Rikli's legacy as a development opportunity for the Upper Gorenjska region. Through innovative content and partnerships, it addresses the needs for a healthy lifestyle, intergenerational integration, the development of entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism, and greater social inclusion of vulnerable groups. The project builds on existing initiatives, involves experts and local actors from the public, private, and social sectors, and lays the foundations for the long-term development of the so-called "Rikli Laboratory" – a space for experimentation, learning, and entrepreneurial innovation based on natural and cultural heritage, established within the framework of the MIC Inter-Company Center of the Bled College of Hospitality, Wellness, and Tourism. The project addresses the key challenge of how to reposition the legacy of the pioneer of natural healing in Bled and the wider Julian Alps region as a fundamental basis for the region's development. Arnold Rikli's legacy is not merely a historical tradition.
